There will be four choices in multiple-choice questions.
For letter writing any two kinds of letters (Personal, Official and Business) with internal choice will be given.
In Question 3(b), one question will be asked from the first-four chapters (‘The Grooming of a Boy’, ‘Plants also Breathe and Feel’, ‘Budgeting your Time’, ‘Journey by Night’); The other question will be asked from the next three chapters (‘The Discovery of Moon’, ‘Three Great Indians’, ‘The Death of Abhimanyu’).
Listening and Speaking skill-based practical: 18 Marks

- Speaking – 08 Marks
For the listening test, students will be given a practice sheet containing 10 questions. They will answer all the 10 questions on the basis of an audio clip. Each question will carry 1 mark.
For the speaking test, students will speak 8 correct sentences on the basis of ‘picture and cue words’ provided in the practice sheet. Each correct sentence carries 1 mark.
