(c) 9160 = 9 × 1000+ 1 × 100 + 6 × 10 + 0 × 1
= 9000 + 100 + 60
(d) 7823 = 7 × 1000 + 8 × 100 + 2 × 10 + 3 × 1
= 7000 + 800 + 20 + 3
(e) 5948 = 5 × 1000 + 9 × 100 + 4 × 10 + 8
= 5000 + 900 + 40 + 8
